Conferences, Seminars & Workshops
Academic learning needs to be supported with people hailing from various walks of life. ASM regularly organises conferences, seminars & workshops on various themes related to all branches separately. Industry veterans, research scholars, government officials etc. are invited regularly from time to time. National Level Technical Seminars/Conferences are held on regular brakes and are attended by students, educationalists and industrialists from all over the county to share knowledge.
The institute established the state-of-the-art , conference room, seminar halls and auditorium to undertake these multifaceted interactions.
Library has always been the backbone of learning, a treasure house for ardent readers. The college library is armed with more than 5000 books for diploma students. It furnishes audio-visual aids, journals, periodicals, conference proceedings, magazines & newspapers to satiate the desires of every student of the college. The computerised search system is an added feature of the library to assist students to locate their information resource. The long opening hours of the library enable students to utilize its vast potential. A separate section of related books is maintained exclusively for detailed study of the theorems. The 1500 volumes of BIS codes enable students to keep abreast of the standards set by Govt. of Indian for the different fields of Engineering.
Book Bank Facility The College also provides books to the student for entire duration of courses through its book bank facility.
Hostel Accommodation The College offers a high standard of living in two boys hostels (164 rooms) and one girls hostel (82 rooms) positioned within the campus. Spacious, well ventilated rooms with adequate furniture provide a comfortable stay to the students at the college. Each of the hostels is equipped with 24 hours power supply with generator sets, water coolers, geysers & RO water purifiers. Indoor games & TV sets are provided in the common room to relax the students at leisure.
Cafeteria A modern cafeteria facility is available in the campus. It serves an alternative menu during the day, where students can easily energise themselves after the college hours.
In-Campus Banking & ATM In campus there is a branch of a nationalized bank, The Oriental Bank of Commerce, its ATM and ISD/STD/PCO is arranged to facilitate the students. On payment, Photostate facility is also available for the students.
